Some people might come here expecting to satisfy their urge to look at Cadillac’s that are black. Sorry to be misleading.

I hope this fills the void.

Should we be open to name changes? I don’t know.

3SSR!

Massive thanks to everyone who came down to our first gig as an official band on Tuesday night!

Everyone looked like they were having an awesome time!

Especially me…

Catch you at the next one! BC xx

Brunswick Promo

This is what I’ve got for the gig at Brunswick Hotel so far. Thoughts? Comments?

Looking pretty good!

Photo shoot time? It was done pretty rough and pretty quick.

It’s a shame we don’t have Wayde anymore but at least we’ll have a freaking good lawyer to get us out of sticky situations.

We Have Band

The other day in band practice. Getting ready for gigs coming up! You can catch us:

April 19 @ Highlander Bar – 3SSR party!

May 20 @ Pony – Winterun album launch!

I think it will be pretty freakin’ exciting.

The general idea here is to keep people up to date with what goes on with us dudes at Black Cadillacs. There’s going to be many years of no one caring about this space but hopefully it’ll take off sooner.

A little about us:

Black Cadillacs was formed mid 2009 in Melbourne, Australia, created in the attic of front man John Roberts’ house. Previous names tossed up included The Friendly Nightmares and Corrupt Killers, though Black Cadillacs held due to its meaningful influential attribution to the song by Modest Mouse, and how Isaac Brock’s style of playing is reflected in Black Cadillacs.

The band consists of John Roberts (vocals, bass), Edward Dunstan (guitar), and Harvey Whelan (drums). To date, Black Cadillacs have been working on a variety of sounds and track demos that will accompany the release of their EPs and eventual records.

The sound is easily comparable to that of Interpol, Arctic Monkeys and Spoon to name a few.
